For Most People, an Idea Ends Over Coffee

A few years ago, I heard a story about a nurse.

She worked in healthcare and became frustrated with how much time was lost because of inefficient processes. Instead of simply complaining, she decided to create a system that helped standardize and automate parts of patient care and medication management.

I never met her, but her story stayed with me.

It reminded me that meaningful ideas often come from people who experience a problem every day.

When I started talking about StarProve, many people thought it was an interesting idea. Some encouraged me. Others questioned whether it was worth the effort.

At first, I thought building the app would be the hard part. I was wrong.

The technology was only one piece of the puzzle. There were legal documents, policies, privacy considerations, platform requirements, business decisions, and countless details I never anticipated.

More than once, it would have been easier to stop. But then StarProve would have remained just another conversation.

For most people, an idea ends over coffee. They talk about a problem, discuss a solution, and move on. Occasionally someone decides to keep going. That decision is where the real work begins.

Great ideas rarely fail because they are impossible. Most fail because nobody continues when the work becomes hard.
