Why StarProve Was Created

For years, I worked as a remodeling contractor.

Every project left something behind: photos, invoices, contracts, permits, and memories. But one thing almost always disappeared when the job was finished - the professional experience gained on that worksite.

And often, that experience was the most valuable thing of all.

We can learn a lot about a property before accepting a project. We can see the house, review plans, estimate materials, and calculate labor. But we usually know very little about the experiences of the contractors who worked there before us.

One day I found myself asking a simple question: Why does all of that experience disappear?

That question became the beginning of StarProve.

I did not create StarProve because I wanted to build another app. I created it because there were many times when I wished a tool like this already existed.

A tool that would allow contractors to preserve professional worksite experience instead of losing it when the project ends.

We believe that the professional contracting community can benefit from sharing real worksite experiences and helping others make more informed decisions.

Every Job Site Log is more than a record. It is knowledge that may help another contractor tomorrow.
